Releasing The Glory In You

"Glory" means honour or a good reputation. Jesus teaches that when you get invited to a banquet, do not presumptuously go straight to the VIP seats. Instead "go and sit down in the lowest place" (Luke 14:7-11). Then when the host beckons you to sit closer to the front, "you will have glory in the presence of all at the feast. That means you will be greatly honoured — you will have glory.
